A Bit About Me

Hi 👋 I currently work as a Data Scientist for Ekimetrics a Marketing Analytics Consulting Firm in New York. I have an M.S. in Applied Data Science from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Bioinformatics from the University of Pittsburgh. My work focuses primarily on bayesian modeling for marketing optimization and building data pipelines. I'm curious about how data can be used to understand customer behavior, improve products, and drive strategic decision-making. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, watching football, and discovering new restaurants. Check out some of my projects below👇

📈 Short Term Stock Price Prediction

I developed a stock surge prediction model using Coinbase limit order book data to uncover actionable intraday trading signals through feature engineering and ensemble learning. The project stemmed from growing interest in using high-frequency trading data to anticipate rapid price movements in volatile markets. I explored a variety of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques to accurately predict profitable surges and build an end-to-end pipeline capable of transforming raw LOB data into meaningful trading insights.

🏈 Analyzing NFL Quarterback Versatility

I investigated Quarterback versatility by leveraging player-tracking and play-by-play data. This project aims to identify the effectiveness of NFL quarterbacks during the 2021-2022 season when throwing from different positions, angles, and distances as well as their overall performance from various areas of the field. Through this analysis, we seek to identify quantitatively which QBs exhibit the most throwing versatility.
